And I am back with another awesome ArtFire Artisan Feature! This time around it is the awesome Jinx1764. So I will hand over to Jinx1764 so she can tackle the questions!
1) What do you like to be called?
Heather, but my best friends call me H.
2) Were you named after anyone?
Negative, but I was almost named Naomi….close call.
3) How many birthdays have you had?
As many as allowed by law, currently 38.
4) Where in the world are you located, and where would you like to be located?
I’m currently located in the Houston area but I would love to be relocated to any Hawaiian island.
5) What defines you as you?
My morbid sense of humor and my eclectic taste in everything; wait is that redundant?
6) What was a defining moment of your childhood? (happy/sad)
When another girl asked me if I wanted her to apologize for her earlier behaviour; I naively answered yes then she refused to apologize at all. I swore at that moment that I would never be that naïve again.

A parrot, of course! Besides being incredibly intelligent and beautiful I would be able to fly!
8) Do you believe in miracles?
Absolutely!
9) Do you untie your shoes when you take them off?
No, since I usually don’t tie them as well.
10) Favorite smells?
Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, my parrot’s feathers, money
11) What is on your mouse pad?
It’s a mini area rug.
12) If you were a crayon, what colour would you be?
Crimson
13) Do you still have your tonsils?
Unfortunately, yes.
14) Do bald men wash their head with soap or shampoo?
Hmmm…soap…
15) What is the first thing you notice about people?
They way they carry themselves.
16) What color pants and shoes are you wearing?
Nude
17) Scary movies or happy endings?
Both, best when together!
18) When cheese gets its picture taken, what does it say?
Nacho!

www.featheredfriendsmementos.com
http://jinx1764.blogspot.com
http://jinx1764.artfire.com
When I’m not goofing off I’m listing and promoting my jewelry and art business.
20) What do you want to be known for, both in terms of your ‘art’ and personally?
Eclectic taste, diversity of styles and detailed worked
That was awesome, Heather! And now I get to do a spotlight on the fabulous items in Heather's Studio, also known as Feathered Friends Mementos.

JennuineCandles feature!
Here we once again, with another awesome ArtFire Artisan feature. This time round we are featuring Jenn from jennuinecandles. Now I will hand over to Jenn.
1) What do you like to be called? Jenn
2) Were you named after anyone? Not that I know of. I think my parents thought it would be funny to give me the first and second most popular names the year I was born.
3) How many birthdays have you had? 34 (but when I get to 50 I will start counting backwards.)
4) Where in the world are you located, and where would you like to be located? I am currently in the US (Arizona)...I’m not sure if I would like to remain in the US (maybe Oregon) or move to Australia.
5) What defines you as you? I think that most people would define me as honest, smart, caring and strong, but with a little bit of naivety. And I am okay with that.
6) What was a defining moment of your childhood? (happy/sad) This is a very interesting question. I would have to say, after much thought, that the birth of my sister was a defining moment. After 8 years of being an only child, I was abruptly thrown into the world of sharing (love, time, toys, food, etc). Although initially a “sad” moment in my childhood, it is now one of the best things that I could have asked for – she is one of my best friends.
7) If you could be an animal which animal would you be and why? I would be my Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Stella. She has a great, posh life!
8) Do you believe in miracles? I believe that everything happens for a reason.
9) Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Usually.
10) Favorite smells? Rain, Fresh Mowed Grass, Wrapping Paper at Christmas.
11) What is on your mouse pad? Nothing special, it’s just blue and round.
12) If you were a crayon, what colour would you be? I would be purple...it is my favorite color and has been for as long as I can remember.
13) Do you still have your tonsils? I actually do.
14) Do bald men wash their head with soap or shampoo? I’d say soap or the new all in one body wash/shampoo stuff for men
15) What is the first thing you notice about people? Their demeanor/how they present themselves.
16) What color pants and shoes are you wearing? Black pants (pajama pants, actually) and no shoes – it’s Sunday
17) Scary movies or happy endings? Most definitely happy endings.
18) When cheese gets its picture taken, what does it say? Boo!
19) Where can people find you and what you do on the internet?

20) What do you want to be known for, both in terms of your ‘art’ and personally? Other than adding creative and unique, I would hope that I would continue to be known as honest, smart, caring and strong, but with a little bit of naivety.
That was excellent Jenn, thanks so much. I'm sure the readers enjoyed it as much as I did. Now on to my spotlight of the wonder items available at jennuinecandles on ArtFire.

JoannasPhotography Feature!
We are back with another fabulous ArtFire artisan feature. This time round we are featuring the amazing Joanna from JoannasPhotography. So without further ado I will hand over to Joanna.
1) What do you like to be called? Joanna
2) Were you named after anyone? Not that I know of. This was name my father wanted to give to his child- I was first.
http://www.autumnwhisperstome.com/page47.html
3) How many birthdays have you had? 28
4) Where in the world are you located, and where would you like to be located?
Right now I live and work in Raleigh, NC, US. I think I would like to go back one day to Cracow, PL (I used to live there for short time- and loved it!)
5) What defines you as you? This is really hard question. I’ve never thought about it. I think the way I show what I see through my photography defines me in very own way.
6) What was a defining moment of your childhood? (happy/sad) I had lots of happenings in my childhood- good but also bad. I don’t consider one to be most important. I believe that the whole set of events that touched me shaped how I see world, how I feel and think.
7) If you could be an animal which animal would you be and why? I have always dreamed to be a bird- free, flying high.
8) Do you believe in miracles? Yes. They happen every day.

12) If you were a crayon, what colour would you be? Blue.
13) Do you still have your tonsils? Yes
14) Do bald men wash their head with soap or shampoo? I think either way. I would say it’s personal preference of person washing their head.
15) What is the first thing you notice about people? Face and eyes.
16) What color pants and shoes are you wearing? Pants- grey, shoes- brown
17) Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings!

That was a fabulous read, Joanna. Thank you so much for letting us into your life a little. And now on to my spotlight of Joanna's work available on ArtFire.
So we come to the end of another ArtFire artisan feature. Stay tuned for the next feature..coming soon.

Harmon Art Feature
Here we are again with another awesome ArtFire Artisan feature! This time round we are featuring HarmonArt. HarmonArt are a husband and wife team, and in this case it is the husband braving the questions!
Let's get to it...
1)What do you like to be called? Brian or daddy at home, Mr. Harmon when in my classroom (although I’ve been called dad there a few times on accident).
2)Were you named after anyone? No, apparently my parents just went with the flow. Brian was the #5 most popular name worldwide the year of my birth. There were like 4 Brians in each of my school classes.
3)How many birthdays have you had? 29
4)Where in the world are you located, and where would you like to be located? My wife and I are an artisan team operating out of Northern Kentucky, which is basically a suburb of Cincinnati. I am actually very happy with my location.
5)What defines you as you? That depends if you know me or just see me. If you know me, I’m defined by my Christian faith and artsiness. If you just see me, It’s probably my super-skinny body shape or big fatty beard.
6)What was a defining moment of your childhood? (happy/sad) When I was in 1st grade, a drawing I did was picked for the local hospital’s ad campaign for paediatrics. I felt like a “real artist” for the first time then. I still get that same feeling every time someone buys one of my pieces. It’s awesome.
7)If you could be an animal which animal would you be and why? I’ve always liked goats, believe it or not. They are just really fun animals. They are outgoing, playful, and can eat anything. I’ve got a sensitive stomach, so I’m jealous.
8)Do you believe in miracles? Oh yes. I’ve experienced them.
9)Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Never.
10)Favorite smells? Baked goods and Scotch tape. I love the smell of wrapping gifts!
11)What is on your mouse pad? “Meet The Beatles” cover art
12)If you were a crayon, what colour would you be? I’m not sure, but it wouldn’t be orange-red, or green- yellow. Crayola insists on putting those in the box but they aren’t colors. According to color theory, the primary color always comes first in hyphenated secondary color names. That’s a pet peeve of mine being an art teacher. It always confuses my students.
13)Do you still have your tonsils? Yep, but my appendix is long gone.
14)Do bald men wash their head with soap or shampoo? Ask me again in a few years and I’ll be able to tell you.
15)What is the first thing you notice about people? Probably their hair. Jealous.
16)What color pants and shoes are you wearing? No shoes, multi-colored stained jeans (I’m about to start glazing some pottery)
17)Scary movies or happy endings? I LOVE scary movies. Give me zombies over love and flowers any day.
18)When cheese gets its picture taken, what does it say? I prefer candid photos, so I always just sneak up on the cheese.
19)Where can people find you and what you do on the internet?

20)What do you want to be known for, both in terms of your ‘art’ and personally? Artwise – I’d like to be known as someone who makes unique work that will you will love to decorate your home with for years to come and that will always start conversations. Personally – I just want to use the talents God gave me in a way He is happy with.
That was great, thanks Brian! And now on to my spotlight of the awesome items in the HarmonArt ArtFire studio.
So once again we have come to the end of a wonderful ArtFire artisan feature. Hope to see you soon for another one.

Creative Critters Feature!
We are back with another feature on an ArtFire artisan. This time round I am featuring Michelle from CreativeCritters.
So lets see what Michelle has to say.
What do you like to be called?
Michelle, or Chelle by family and close friends.
Where you named after anyone?
I think my middle name (Elizabeth) is a version of my mother's middle name (Beth).
How many birthdays have you had?
33
Where in the world are you located and where would you like to be located?
I live in N.E. Ohio, near Lake Erie. I'd like to live in a big farmhouse with lots of land (and animals) near a lake, some where a little warmer than here.
What defines you as you?
I'm creative, quirky, unique, caring, yet still strong. I'm a lot of different things to a lot of different people, but I always try to be there when someone needs me. I've been through some very hard times in my life, and that's made me more understanding when it comes to others problems. I love animals, and all living creatures. Heck, I feel bad when I chop a worm in 2 in the garden! I'm a weirdo, but in a good way.
What was a defining moment of your childhood?
My grandfather died when I was 14. He and my grandmother had raised my brothers and me until I was 13, and he had been my only father figure. He was always so strong, and when he got sick and died, my whole world was turned upside down. The ages between 14 and 18 were the hardest of my life. Enough happened to me during those years to fill a book, and none of it good. But I survived, and surviving that, I know I can survive anything. It made me a strong woman, physically and mentally. Now I can feel Grampa saying, "Way to go, Chelle. You're doing what you should be doing."
If you could be any animal which animal would you be and why?
A cat. I love cats. They're athletic and flexible and such a sense of freedom about them. They're funny and intelligent and creative. Maybe I was a cat in a past life. When I was little I used to dream I was a cat. Those were good dreams.
Do you believe in miracles?
Yes.
Do you untie your shoes when you take them off?
Yes.
Favorite smells?
Lilacs, Dianthus flowers, fresh mowed grass, vanilla, brown sugar, roasted garlic, and a freshly bathed ferret.
What is on your mouse pad?
A mouse.
If you were a crayon what color would you be?
Purple
Do you still have your tonsils?
Yes
Do bald men wash their head with shampoo or soap?
I say soap- fewer steps.
What is the first thing you notice about people?
Their aura- whether they seem friendly and open or angry and distant. Next I notice their pet.
What color pants and shoes are you wearing?
Silver and purple tennis shoes, and blue jeans.
Scary movies or happy endings?
Happy endings.
When cheese gets it's picture taken what does it say?
People!
Where can people find you and what do you do on the internet?
My studio on ArtFire is at CreativeCritters. I have pictures and blogs on Facebook, MySpace, ByHand.me, Flickr, and JoAnn.com.
What do you want to be known for, both in terms of your "art" and personally?
In terms of my art I want to be known as talented, innovative, and unique. I want to be known for excellent customer service and as someone who can be relied upon. Personally I want to be known for my empathy, love for all creatures and their environment, as as a good person. I want my friends and family to know they can confide in me and rely on me to be there for them.
A scene I find inspiring: this picture was taken at sunset by my Mother in Wyoming.
I don't have a picture of my favorite piece of clothing, but that would have to be the raggedy old sweatpants that used to be my Grampa's. Gramma gave them to me when I was 14 and I still have them.
The item I'm most proud of is Scorch the Rockin' Dragon. He took months to complete and is 14" tall and 18 1/2" long. Each of those scales were made by hand (THOUSANDS of them)! Eventually I will list him on ArtFire.
Thank you so much for this interview. It was a lot of fun!
-Michelle Adkins

NinjaJenn feature
Here we are again with another fantastic ArtFire artisan feature. This time round we have the amazing NinjaJenn!
Let's get to it!!
1)What do you like to be called?
* Most people call me Jenn… but I will answer to about anything BUT jenny LOL
2)Were you named after anyone?
* I got my middle name from my maternal grandmother… but my hippie mom ALMOST named me Moon Reign… WHEW dodged that bullet! LOL
3)How many birthdays have you had?
* 33 so far!
4)Where in the world are you located, and where would you like to be located?
* I am in NC, just north of Charlotte… I wish I was anywhere that snows a LOT so I could ride all year :sigh:
5)What defines you as you?
* Definitely my quirkiness. I am a total goofball nerd, and I am super outgoing… but I am also super weird… so I guess it’s nature way of keeping me in check LOL
6)What was a defining moment of your childhood? (happy/sad)
* Well, It’s always been just my mom and me… and I was a terrible child. I was always torturing her for some reason or the other. Anyway, once she drove me two hours to see something at an amusement park, and I was torturing her the entire way about something stupid. So she said “If you say it again, we’re going back home.” So I waited until we were in the parking lot and said it again. (Thought I was safe…) So my mom drives right up to the front gate and says “Wave!” and then took me allllllll the way back home. That’s when I learned my mom does NOT play… and that I should learn to listen. It definitely changed my life! LOL
7)If you could be an animal which animal would you be and why?
* A duck billed platypus probably… knowing my luck LOL
8)Do you believe in miracles?
* Whole heartedly!
9)Do you untie your shoes when you take them off?
* Only if I have had too much wine… I can’t get out of them otherwise at that point!
10)Favorite smells?
* Fresh cut grass, cinnamon, coconut, rain
11)What is on your mouse pad?
* I don’t have a mouse pad :0(
12)If you were a crayon, what colour would you be?
* Squished caterpillar green
13)Do you still have your tonsils?
* Yep!
14)Do bald men wash their head with soap or shampoo?
* Who cares as long as they keep being bald? Bald is sexy! LOL
15)What is the first thing you notice about people?
* Usually their smile or their eyes. You can tell a LOT about someone by both I think.
16)What color pants and shoes are you wearing?
* Blue jeans and bare footsies… toes gotta be free!
17)Scary movies or happy endings?
* Scary movies WITH happy endings please!
18)When cheese gets its picture taken, what does it say?
* Butter!
19)Where can people find you and what you do on the internet?

20)What do you want to be known for, both in terms of your ‘art’ and personally?
* In terms of art, I just want to be known for being unique and totally myself. I want people to see my things and think “Yep, that’s a Ninja piece!”. As for personally, I want to be known for always being true to myself, kind to others, and I hope my faith and spirituality shows in all I do.
Thanks so much for participating Jenn! I had so much fun reading your responses, and I hope the readers do too.
Now on to my byhand.me spotlight of NinjaJenn's ArtFire studio. There is so much fabulous, unique and funky stuff there.. you have to go look! You will not be disappointed!
Let's get to it!!
1)What do you like to be called?
* Most people call me Jenn… but I will answer to about anything BUT jenny LOL

* Whole heartedly!
9)Do you untie your shoes when you take them off?
* Only if I have had too much wine… I can’t get out of them otherwise at that point!
10)Favorite smells?
* Fresh cut grass, cinnamon, coconut, rain
11)What is on your mouse pad?
* I don’t have a mouse pad :0(
12)If you were a crayon, what colour would you be?
* Squished caterpillar green
13)Do you still have your tonsils?
* Yep!
14)Do bald men wash their head with soap or shampoo?
* Who cares as long as they keep being bald? Bald is sexy! LOL
15)What is the first thing you notice about people?
* Usually their smile or their eyes. You can tell a LOT about someone by both I think.

* Blue jeans and bare footsies… toes gotta be free!

* Scary movies WITH happy endings please!
