Intentional Inspiration.

It is time for me to introduce you to another member of the HAF community as part of our weekly blog ring, and this week my victim guest is someone new to me and this blog. Intentional Stones is the name of the studio and is a collaborative work between two women, Mina and Simbelmynë. Together they create wonderful pieces of jewellery with a focus on gemstones and silver.
I went for a little wonder through their ArtFire studio and found some delightful examples of their creations. Let me show you just a taste...

Lovely pieces indeed. There are more to see in their studio, plus if you visit their dot com you can find links to their twitter, blog and facebook!

TRusk4U - Creations to please.

It is week three of the HAF blogring, and it is time for another victim guest. This week we are going to revisit someone I visited last year, TRusk4U. Teresa is the talent behind the name, and not only is she a wonderful jewellery maker, she is also a lovely, giving lady. Members of the HAF community would be aware of the wonderful gesture she made during our recent sorrow.
Teresa has a well stocked store on Etsy, filled with delightful creations that cater to many tastes and budgets. Let's take a look at just a few.

I love these earrings, they would be like wearing spring on your ears!

Elegant simplicity.. absolutely gorgeous!

Juicy and Fruity.. perfect for summer!

Simple, elegant and very classy!

That is just  a very small sample of her lovely pieces. Get yourself along to TRusk4U on Etsy to see even more!

Amazing Kabi Designs

Excuse my tardiness, this post was due to be up earlier this week.. but somehow time got away from me. However I am here now and this post will continue XD
It give me great pleasure to introduce the second victim guest as part of the current HAF blog ring.
This week it is the amazing Kabi Designs. The creative talent behind Kabi Designs is Karina, a polymer clay artist hailing from NY.
We all know that I love polymer clay, and I love people who create with it even more. Karina has an amazing talent. Take a look at a few of her pieces.

Amazing Mica Shift, one of my favourite techniques!

An adorable sculpture!

And a gorgeous Kitty Pendant!

As you can see her work is outstanding and her shop on Etsy is well worth a visit!

Reef Botanicals - Handcrafted Heaven

After a lengthy absence from participation on the Handmade Artist's Forum (due to life) I have dived back in, signing up for the newest blog ring.
My first victim guest is Reef Botanicals.
I have 'known' Larissa, one half of Reef Botanicals, for a couple of years now and I am always amazed at the energy and drive she has. Not only does she run Reef Botanicals with her husband, but she is a lawyer and face painter.. as well as being an amazing support to many artisans online with her openness and friendliness. And just recently she has taken cake decorating classes.. maybe I should let her know that a lot of the skills used for cake decorating work really well for polymer clay ;)
But let us focus on Reef Botanicals. The main items handcrafted by them are soaps. Not any old soap.. amazing soap! They have shaving soap, luscious smelling soap (like coffee and chocolate) and healing soap, as well as the incredibly popular Purity soap - the purest Castile soap around. They also make bath salts, candles, bath bombs, scrubs and lip balms.
Don't take my word for it though.. go and check it out for yourself! You can visit Reef Botanicals main site, their blog and their HAF shop.

Sunday Shopping Spree - April 3rd

Again I am a little late.. well.. more like 2 weeks late!! But nevertheless I am back again with another of my Sunday Shopping Sprees. This week it is my pleasure to show you the work of a talented woman named Sonja. She is the creative force behind Silver River Jewelry, and the talented lampworker behind Silver River Glass Works.
I have been very privileged to witness the journey Sonja has begun with lampwork beads, and have very much enjoyed watching as her work has developed rapidly over the last year or so. Very soon I hope to add her amazing work to my own hoard.
But without further ado.. let's go have a look at her work.

I have been lusting after this set for quite a while.. Mango Salsa is the perfect name!

These are so lovely and organic! Boro is such an interesting glass

These are a beautiful set. Implosions are quite tricky, as are getting beads of virtually identical size and shape. These are a testament to how well Sonja is doing!

Recently Sonja started creating Chainmaille, as you know, something of an obsession of mine!

I love the uniqueness of this piece!

Sonja also does some wonderful bead weaving pieces.

Such amazing creations!. I urge you to drop by Silver River Glass Works and Silver River Jewelry and check out the rest of her awesome work!
